On December 26, 2024, the Scientific Cyber Security Association, together with Caucasus University, hosted the largest and most ambitious hackathon in the region. More than 70 participants took part in it and demonstrated their hacking skills.
The competition organized by SCSA brought together the best hackers and cybersecurity specialists in Georgia. In a highly competitive environment, using their own technical skills and knowledge, the participants managed to hack machines specially created for the hackathon by the SCSA team.
The best hacker was named: Irakli Chubinidze. The winner was awarded the main prize of an MSI gaming laptop.
Participation in the competition was free and anyone from the field of cybersecurity had the opportunity to participate. All contestants were awarded a certificate of participation.
The event was supported by Caucasus University, MSI, 2e gaming, ERC Distribution Georgia, Fortinet, Integra, Elcore GE and Alpha Distribution. The contribution of these companies is exceptionally important in the introduction and support of innovations in the field of cybersecurity.
This hackathon revealed the best talents of Georgia and also set a new standard for holding similar events in the region. Such competitions serve to confirm the experience of professional specialists and develop the field of cybersecurity.
