The UA Regional Strategy Review – Georgia 2026 will serve as a strategic platform to assess the progress of Universal Acceptance (UA) initiatives, identify current challenges, and foster structured dialogue among stakeholders from Georgia and partner countries across the Black Sea region.
The Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA) and IDI have successfully organized four International Conferences on Telecommunication and Security, where major topics such as Internet fragmentation, Universal Acceptance, and DNSSEC have been actively discussed. The 5th edition of the conference is already scheduled, continuing to serve as a key venue for regional exchange on emerging digital and cybersecurity issues.
Building upon this foundation, a separate hybrid event: “Trust and Resilience in the Black Sea Region Domain System: Strengthening IDN, DNS, and gTLD Security” is planned to specifically address Universal Acceptance. The event will feature local and regional experts from the Black Sea region, aiming to strengthen cooperation, promote multilingual Internet access, and support the development of resilient and inclusive digital infrastructure.
Supported by the Communications Commission of Georgia, this initiative seeks to enhance national and regional alignment with international best practices and contribute to a coordinated strategy for advancing Universal Acceptance and digital inclusion.
