International Scientific Conference on Telecommunication and IoT Security

On December 30, 2023, the International Scientific Conference on Telecommunication and IoT Security was organised by the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA), the ISOC IoT SIG and the Internet Development Initiative (ID). The conference was held in a hybrid mode, and participants, as well as speakers, had the opportunity to participate both on-site and remotely.

Speakers from Georgia, Ukraine, France and Uzbekistan participated in the conference. The presentations were related to the authors’ scientific research and their results in the field of telecommunications and public security, namely:

  • “Security challenges in cellular networks towards 6G” – Prof. Roman Odarchenko, National Aviation University, Kyiv, Ukraine.
  • „AI/ML-based cryptography for advanced communication systems” – Prof. Sergiy Gnatyuk, National Aviation University, Kyiv, Ukraine.
  • „Build your own inexpensive Hardware Hacking lab” – Hrishikesh Somchatwar, Eurecom, France.
  • „A new challenges of the Internet Fragmentation” – Prof. Vladimer Svanadze, Internet Development Initiative (IDI), Business and Technology University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
  • “The security and vulnerabilities of IoT devices” – Prof. Sherzod Gulomov, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizm, Uzbekistan.
  • “Automate penetration testing of 5G networks” – Prof. Maksim Iavich, Caucasus University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
  • „IoT Security” – Archil Shengelia, Scientific Cyber Security Association, Tbilisi, Georgia.
  • The security and vulnerabilities of the IoT Devices, Sherzod Gulomov, Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Tashkent, Uzbekistan
